About Me
Hey there!
My name is Devon Nedoroscik, I am an Esports professional, and the Head Coach & Coordinator of Esports at Bentley University.
Currently, I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University at Albany in New York, alongside a minor in East Asian Studies, focusing on Esports. During my junior year, I furthered my knowledge of Esports by studying abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. It was in Seoul where I was able to immerse myself in the home of Esports and the culture surrounding it by visiting corporate headquarters, team PC-bangs, and even being featured on Korean television! In addition to this, I hold an Associate's Degree in History from Hudson Valley Community College, in Troy, New York.
Through the culmination of my interests, as well as professional experiences, I consider myself an expert in Esports, project management, event production, team leadership, and digital marketing.
During my time at Red Bull, I have:
Led the organization, activation, and execution of the Red Bull Campus Clutch Global Valorant Tournament’s online qualifiers and Northeast Regional Final, in addition to playing a large part in the execution of its United States National Final in 2022
Took part in driving awareness, increasing attendance, as well as staffing the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in Boston, United States during its 2022, and 2023 events
Raised over $400 in donations for spinal cord injury research through the Wings for Life World Run charity in both 2022 and 2023
Currently, at Bentley University, I have:Kickstarted the first official academic year of Bentley University Esports, by establishing seven teams with over forty players
Created and managed of all social media accounts named “Bentley Strike”
Coached three of the six teams into the playoffs of their first competitive season
I have held a number of positions in Esports and marketing throughout my career, apart from Red Bull and Bentley University. While those two have been my favorite jobs, I have had an incredible time at the Boys & Girls Clubs, Putnam Science Academy, Concorde Education, Fenworks, and Metafy, and it was at these places where I have learned valuable skills contributing to my current success. Previously, I built the foundational knowledge for my current life through a previous internship at The Martinez Art Gallery and previous employment for Geek Squad at Best Buy. It was during my time with these two employers that I learned the ins and outs of eCommerce, gaming technology, Windows & MacOS hardware and software, and the fundamentals of building gaming-oriented computers.
Overall, the unique culmination of my academic and professional past set me up to feel the most comfortable, and most engaged in a career that allows me to utilize skills in Esports, event production, project management, team leadership, management, coaching, social media management, digital marketing, B2B marketing, and B2C marketing.
In my personal life, I am extraordinarily passionate about world history, and current events worldwide. In addition to this, I would consider longboarding, spectating Esports events, and traveling the world to be my hobbies.
